This future vision is set out in Rotherham’s Community Strategy, launched in July 2005. The strategy provides the framework for joint working and the vision is based on the aspirations, needs and priorities of local communities.

The Community Strategy also describes how the vast range of national, regional and local policies and priorities will be coordinated and delivered to meet the needs of specific communities. In Rotherham, those communities span 21 electoral wards.
